Facebook gets Rs 43239 crore profit in July-September,

Facebook posted a profit of $ 6.09 billion (Rs 43239 crore) in the July-September quarter. Revenue grew by 29% to $ 17.65 billion (Rs 1.25 lakh crore). The number of Daily Active users increased by 9% to 1.62 billion due to good growth in markets such as India, Indonesia and the Philippines. The company announced quarterly results on Wednesday.

Monthly active user figures stood at 2.45 billion in September. Facebook CFO David Wehner said that in September, around 2.2 billion people used a Facebook app every day. Tell that Instagram and WhatsApp are also platforms of the Facebook group.

Facebook gave growth figures. The Asia Pacific recorded the highest 35% revenue growth.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said that WhatsApp payment service testing in India is getting a good response. Tell that WhatsApp payment service in India is competing with companies like Paytm, PhonePe and Google-Pay. WhatsApp has 1.5 billion users worldwide. 40 crore of these are in India.
